GOOD EGG COMEDY | EDINBURGH

Every Thursday we bring Edinburgh's most intimate new material comedy night for professional comedians to our favourite little cocktail bar, Dragonfly.

Starting in 2023, we have grown into one of the favoured rooms for comedians from the city, and further afield for road testing new material for upcoming international tours, Edinburgh Fringe runs and even potential future Netflix specials.

We have had acts gracing our stage that have entertained audiences around the world and we only charge a fiver to see them. Much less than an Edinburgh alcoholic drink!

Every June/July we run an extensive schedule of Edinburgh Fringe works in progress shows and previews. Bringing sneak peeks of top comedy shows bound for glory and stardom at the Fringe in August.

We tend to take December off to give us a break for the festive period, and in August, we turn the venue over to our friends at Laughing Horse for the Edinburgh Fringe.

The bar is one of the finest cocktail bars in Edinburgh with concoctions you won't believe, please check Dragonfly's website for an idea as the menu changes regularly.

Parking is difficult at the venue what with it being in Old Town, Edinburgh, but is free after 6.30pm if you can find a space. We would suggest aiming for Kings Stables Road, if not walking or taking public transport.

The comedy room is wheelchair accessible, if you can let us know in advance we can make preparations.

All shows are 18+, no refunds if younger and refused entry.

It is a very intimate room with a capacity of 42 maximum, so please do book tickets in advance.
